. Here are some of our favourites...
Rangers 3-2 Celtic, 5 May 1973 The Centenary cup final attracted a crowd of 122,000 at Hampden. In an incredible match, Tom Forsyth scored the winning goal from six inches.
Aberdeen 4-1 Rangers, 22 May 1982 Alex McLeish's memorable 20-yard strike for Aberdeen cancelled out John McDonald's opener, then in extra-time Alex Ferguson's Aberdeen ran riot with goals from Mark McGhee, Gordon Strachan and Neale Cooper to secure the first of three cup wins in three years.
Motherwell 4-3 Dundee United, 18 May 1991 Dubbed "the family final", as the teams were managed by brothers Tommy and Jim McLean, Stevie Kirk sealed a thrilling win for Motherwell in extra-time.
Colin O'Neill for Motherwell v Celtic, 9 April 1991, Scottish Cup semi-final replay at Hampden. A long-range pile-driver that gave the Celtic goalie no chance.
Kevin McAllister for Falkirk v Huntly, 23 January 1999, Scottish Cup third round at Brockville. An outrageous bit of skill from the Falkirk legend.
Gerry Britton for Partick Thistle v Dundee, 6 February 2002, Scottish Cup fourth round replay at Dens Park. A goal that Maradona would surely applaud.
Berwick Rangers 1-0 Rangers, 28 January 1967. Rangers would go on to contest a European final that year but they could not get past Second Division Berwick Rangers, and goalkeeper Jock Wallace, in the first round of the Scottish Cup.
Stenhousemuir 2-0 Aberdeen, 18 February 1995. Aberdeen have had some miserable experiences in the cups in recent years, but this fourth-round defeat by Second Division Stenhousemuir was particularly painful for the Dons.
Celtic 1-3 Inverness Caledonian Thistle, 8 February 2000. This third-rounddefeat by First Division Inverness, said to be Celtic's worst in 30 years, signalled the end for manager John Barnes.
