By Colin Moffat

2220: That's all from me folks. Thanks your company and comments. You can see highlights of tonight's matches and all of Monday's goals on Sportscene, BBC One Scotland at 1125 GMT.

2218: Accies wilted in extra time, having battled bravely in the regulation 90 minutes. Tomas Cerny made a few top drawer saves amd Alex Neil snapped away in midfield but there is no doubt Rangers were the more menacing side throughout.

Full time
2115: Full-time: Rangers 2-0 Hamilton (after extra time). Two goals from Steven Whittaker set up a fifth round tie at St Mirren Park.

2211: Rangers' Kenny Miller limps off after clutching the back of his leg. With Kris Boyd out, an injury to the in-form forward is the last thing manager Walter Smith's wants.

2209: Allan McGregor makes a fine double save to deny Elliot and Marco Paixao as the visitors make one final push.

2205: Hamilton sub Stuart Elliot gets a glimpse of goal but shoots straight at Allan McGregor.

My Sport

From a sad Scamilton On My Sport:

"Still think Cerny deserves the man of the match award, regardless of Whittaker's prowess. Some goal mind you, I'll take my hat off to that one."

2202: Rangers take a well-earned breather, knocking the ball around in the middle of the park. A tricky trip to St Mirren awaits Walter Smith's men in the fifth round.

2159: That's the end of the first period of extra time at Ibrox. Rangers are on Easy Street.

2158: Steven Whittaker is after that match ball! This time he fizzes in a beauty that Cerny does well to hold on to as it whizzes through a cluster of players.

2156: Tomas Cerny saves bravely at the feet of Steven Davis as Rangers continue to find huge gaps in the tired-looking Accies defence. Whittaker is then denied a hat-trick as his shot is deflected wide.

2155: "Celtic's new signing tomorrow will be Thomas Rogne, a 19-year-old Norwegian playing for Stabaek," says Plymouth Bhoy via text on 80295. You might be on to something there, buddy.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
What a wonderful goal! Steven Whittaker weaves his way to the edge of the penalty area and curls a superb shot into the top corner.

2151: GOAL Rangers 2-0 Hamilton (Whittaker)

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Kenny Miller's shot is deflected towards goal and Tomas Cerny gets a hand to it before Steven Whittaker makes sure the ball crosses the line.

2148: GOAL Rangers 1-0 Hamiton (Whittaker)

2144: Accies sub Kyle Wilkie is off balance as he fires a weak shot into the side-netting.

2143: Extra time is under way at Ibrox.

My Sport

From a nervous mem On My Sport:

"Never thought I'd see the day I'd say it but Rangers are missing Beasley."

2138: Extra-time at Ibrox. The teams are huddled together receiving their instructions for the next half hour. Will Accies goalkeeper Tomas Cerny continue to frustrate Rangers or will the home side find a way past the in-form Czech?

2137: Steven Whittaker lets fly with a dipping, swerving effort from distance but, you've guessed it, Tomas Cerny makes another stop in the last seconds of time added on.

2135: Rangers spring a quick attack but Nacho Novo takes a touch when a volley looked on and the Spanish forward is crowded out in the penalty box.

2134: However, Flavio Paixao's delivery is disappointing, failing to beat the first man.

2133: Hamilton win a corner in the final minute....

Full time
2131: Full-time: Morton 0-1 CelticThat 35th-minute strike from Niall McGinn is enough to send Celtic into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.

2128: Kenny Miller must sick at the sight of Tomas Cerny! The canary-yellow clad keeper flings himself at the striker's shot on the turn to make a tremendous stop. The man-of-the-match decision should be pretty easy.

Someone has struck the woodwork
2126: Celtic full-back Lee Naylor cracks a fierce volley against the inside of the post.

2125: Nacho Novo fires high over the crossbar as Hamilton failed to clear a corner kick. We're approximately 10 minutes away from extra time unless one of these teams can find a goal.

2123: Accies keeper Tomas Cerny makes another excellent save to deny Kenny Miller as the striker runs on to a fine defence-splitting pass from Steven Davis.

2121: Celtic's Aiden McGeady springs into life with a bustling run down the left but his eventual shot is charged down on the edge of the penalty area.

2118: Danny Wilson's header is cleared off the line by David Elebert as Rangers continue to threaten.

2116: Celtic striker Georgios Samaras bundles the ball into the net at the back post but the Greek international is penalised for handball. The celebrations were muted, which perhaps tells us he knew he was guilty...

2113: Morton's Brian Wake twists and turns into the Celtic penalty box but Lee Naylor makes a terrific block to snuff out the striker's shot.

2112: There's a wee shoving match at Ibrox after David Elebert scythes down Nacho Novo. The Accies man and Rangers skipper David Weir are booked and that means the veteran defender will be suspended for the next round if the home side progress.

My Sport

From mem On My Sport:

"Looking like a night where Rangers could throw the kitchen sink at Hamilton and still not get a goal, think this will be decided by one goal and probably a half yard tap in at that."

2108: Celtic's Darren O'Dea rises to connect with a free header from a corner but directs it at least three yards past the post. That was a good chance for the defender to double the visitors' lead.

2106: "Listening to game tonight - good to hear my fellow Ulsterman McGinn scored. Sorry to hear about Bill McLaren - what a great commentator and gentleman he was. I particularly loved how he use to rave on about the beauty of President Mary Robinson when he covered matches in Dublin," Nick from Belfast by text on 80295.

2103: Morton defender Stewart Greacen was nearly left with a red face as his sliced clearance attempt could quite easily have spun beyond his own keeper and into the net. Luckily, he sliced it so finely he hardly changed the direction of the ball.

2100: Fleck fires in another effort on target but it's straight at Cerny this time. Rangers are building in momentum again.

2059: John Fleck moves from left to right, spins and curls a shot towards the top corner and Tomas Cerny leaps to the catch the ball. Soon after the Accies keeper flops down to gather a weak effort from Lee McCulloch.

2059: A powerful hit by Celtic striker Georgios Samaras from 25 yards brings about a good, strong one-handed save by Colin Stewart.

2058: It's a bit flat at Ibrox just now. The crowd of around 20,000 have gone quiet as both sides surrender possession too easily.

2055: As things stand, Celtic would face a trip to Stenhousemuir, since Dunfermline were booted out of the Scottish Cup for a number of rules infractions during their 7-1 thumping of the Warriors. The Pars have since launched an appeal against the SFA ruling.

2054: "Celtic have started the second half really strongly. They're looking for that second goal that would help secure their passage to the next round." BBC Scotland commentator David Begg at Cappielow.

2052: "Hamilton are making it very difficult for Rangers to play through them." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Craig Paterson at Ibrox.

2049: Rangers get the second half started at Ibrox as the ball bobbles around on the old corrugated iron roof of the main stand at Cappielow.

2045: We're off again at Cappielow. The groundstaff are still poking the pitch with garden forks at Ibrox.

2042: Did I mention you can see highlights of tonight's games as well as all the goals from Monday's matches on Sportscene on BBC One Scotland at 1125 GMT?

2040: Rangers have been well on top at Ibrox and Hamilton will be delighted to be all square at the interval. Kenny Miller has rattled the crossbar twice for the home side.

2038: Celtic look like making it nine wins in a row against Morton. The visitors were sluggish in the opening exchanges but the goal from Niall McGinn has settled Tony Mowbray's side.

2034: "Another transfer rumour, Celtic have approached Blackburn in a bid to bring Keith Andrews to Parkhead to fill the Barry Robson void. You heard it here first." Morris in Stornoway by text on 80295.

2032: Half time: Rangers 0-0 Hamilton Accies

2030: Half time: Morton 0-1 Celtic

Someone has struck the woodwork
2029: Rangers striker Kenny Miller cracks another shot against the crossbar after a neat spin away from an Accies defender.

2027: Steven Whittaker is booked for diving after falling in the box after being closed down by David Elebert. That was a bit of a cheeky belly-flop from the Rangers man.

2026: Marc-Antoine Fortune again powers to the by-line, but this time he tries to fool the keeper instead of cutting the ball back. However, the angle is too tight and Colin Stewart gathers easily.

2025: Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor tips wide as Mickael Antoine-Curier threatens to convert David Elebert's flick-on. Hamilton are on the attack again soon after as Marco Paixao belts a dipping volley narrowly over the crossbar.

2022: Rangers youngster John Fleck stings the palms of Tomas Cerny with a fierce drive. Steven Davis is none too happy since he was better placed to beat the Accies keeper.

2021: Racing into the six yard box, Marc-Antoine Fortune is just a shade late to get on the end of Niall McGinn's cross. Perhaps the striker might have been better going for a diving header.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Marc-Antoine Fortune skips past an opponent at the by-line and drills the ball back to the penalty spot where Niall McGinn takes one touch before lashing high past Colin Stewart. A fine finish.

2019: GOAL Morton 0-1 Celtic (McGinn)

2018: Remember you can see highlights of tonight's games and all the goals from Monday's matches on BBC One Scotland's Sportscene at 11.25.

Someone has struck the woodwork
2016: Sasa Papac's cross finds Kenny Miller at the back post and the striker's full-stretch shot rebounds off the crossbar.

2014: Steven Whittaker's cross is flicked on by Kenny Miller but a stretching Steven Davis cannot head home at the back post. Whittaker is looking lively with his gallops down the right flank.

2011: "Morton have probably been the better side with a higher level of energy. Celtic haven't stamped their authority on the game at all." BBC Scotland pundit Jim Duffy at Cappielow.

My Sport

From BennyGers On My Sport:

"Heard the Celtic signing could be Gary Kenneth from Dundee United for £650,000."

2005: Rangers full-back Sasa Papac meanders his way into the penalty area and fires a shot across the bows of the Hamilton goal but Tomas Cerny beats the ball to safety.

2004: Morton's Peter Weatherson forces Artur Boruc to push the ball away when the Englishman steps inside and strikes a powerful drive from about 20 yards.

2003:Paul in Glasgow by text on 80259: "Haw Colin, you better take back your comment at 1944, that jersey is a beauty. Prefer the mid-nineties effort mind you." Was that the Jorge Cadete-era florescent one or the one with all the shades of green and the interest rate graph across the front?

2000: Hamilton forward Flavio Paixao cuts in from the right and bends a shot into the grasp of Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

2000: Niall McGinn cuts in from the right flank to fire away a shot but the effort is feeble and trundles into the grateful arms of 'Ton keeper Colin Stewart.

My Sport

From OrchardMac On My Sport:

"Young James Forrest is in a unique situation tonight - the only Scot in Celtic's squad on the park and on the bench."

1957: "So far McGeady's struggled to get into into it and McGinn's hardly touched it." BBC Scotland pundit Jim Duffy at Cappielow.

1955: Referee Charlie Richmond waves play on after Kenny Miller stumbles in the penalty area under the challenge of Simon Mensing.

1953: "The player Celtic are signing is Titus Bramble. The Senderos deal has fallen through and it is part of the Caldwell move," says Neil in Dundee via text on 80295. That doesn't sound very likely. Any more tall tales from the transfer world?

1952: Ouch! Hamilton captain Alex Neil takes a sore one after being caught late by Lee McCulloch.

1951: "Hamilton just can't get their passing game going early in the game." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Craig Paterson at Ibrox.

1949: The ball falls kindly for Morton's Allan Jenkins on the edge of the penalty area but the midfielder skews a shot horribly wide.

1948: Rangers striker Kenny Miller latches on to a ball over the top by Danny Wilson and thunders a shot at goal but Accies keeper Tomas Cerny is equal to the attempt.

1947: "Looking at Celtic's line-up they have Aiden McGeady playing off the two strikers, McGinn on the right and no one on the left whatsoever." BBC Scotland pundit Jim Duffy at Cappielow

1946: Hamilton kick off at Ibrox.

1944: We're off at Cappielow, with Celtic wearing that shocking bumble bee away kit. Morton in their traditional blue and white hoops.

My Sport

From mrhassy On My Sport:

"No Lafferty in the Gers line up? Nae word on the reason?"
Well, the gangling forward hasn't really been setting the heather on fire has he?
Youngster John Fleck gets a chance to shine at Ibrox.

1940: There's a strong whisper that Celtic will be announcing a new signing tomorrow. Will it be Arsenal's out-of-favour defender Philippe Senderos or another mystery man?

1937: TEAM NEWS FROM CAPPIELOW:
Morton: Stewart, McGuffie, Reid, Shimmin, Greacen, MacFarlane, Finlayson, Jenkins, Weatherson, Wake, McAlister. Subs: Cuthbert, Monti, Kane, Graham, MacGregor.
Celtic: Boruc, Hinkel, Naylor, Loovens, O'Dea, McGinn, Crosas, Zhi, McGeady, Samaras, Fortune. Subs: Zaluska, McCourt, Mizuno, Thompson, Forrest.

1934: Celtic defender Glenn Loovens recovered from illness to replace stopper Stephen McManus who came off against Falkirk on Saturday with a leg knock. Niall McGinn comes into the side to play up front with Georgios Samaras and Marc-Antoine Fortune.

1927: A crowd of 11,000 is expected at Cappielow. The old ground will be rocking. The pitch, which has been under snow and ice for so long, looks in pretty good nick. No team news from Greenock yet...

1924: TEAM NEWS FROM IBROX:
Rangers: McGregor, Whittaker, Wilson, Weir, Papac, Davis, Thomson, McCulloch, Fleck, Novo, Miller. Subs: Alexander, Edu, Broadfoot, Smith, Little.
Hamilton: Cerny, Evans, Elebert, Canning, McClenahan, Marco Paixao, Mensing, Neil, McArthur, Flavio Paixao, Antoine-Curier. Subs: Murdoch, McLaughlin, Elliott, Wilkie, Crawford

1922: The last time Celtic visited Cappielow was in 1999, with Mark Viduka netting twice in a 3-0 Scottish Cup victory.

1919: This is the third meeting between Rangers and Accies in the space of 10 days. Six goals were shared in a cup thriller before Nacho Novo settled a rather dull league encounter in the visitors' favour at New Douglas Park at the weekend.

1915: Good evening and welcome to our Scottish Cup coverage. Tonight we have Celtic travelling to Greenock to take on Morton and Rangers hosting Hamilton Accies in a replay at Ibrox.
