Dunfermline 3-1 Raith Rovers

Co-operative Insurance Cup

Andy Kirk scored twice as Dunfermline secured their place in Co-operative Insurance Cup third round with a Fife derby win over Raith Rovers.

Kirk nodded in Willie Gibson's inviting cross just before half-time.

But former Pars man Iain Williamson levelled from the penalty spot after Neil McGregor hauled back Gregory Tade five minutes into the second half.

However, a Gibson free-kick was turned into his own net by Mark Campbell and Kirk tapped in a Joe Cardle cross.

Dunfermline: Fleming, Woods, McCann, Bell, McGregor, Higgins, Gibson (McDougall 73), Burke (Phinn 76), Bayne, Kirk, Cardle (Muirhead 87).
