East Fife 2-0 Arbroath

Homecoming Scottish Cup

Two second half goals helped East Fife record a Homecoming Scottish Cup third round victory over over Arbroath.

Bobby Linn came close for the home side and Arbroath's fired narrowly wide in a scoreless first half.

Former Scotland striker Stevie Crawford broke the deadlock on 70 minutes, slotting home after Chris Templeman's intelligent lay-off.

Craig O'Reilly sealed the win in the final with with a tidy finish past Arbroath goalkeeper Darren Hill.


East Fife: McCulloch, McDonald, Smart, Fotheringham, Cameron, Shields (Young 75), Fagan, Stewart, Linn, Templeman (O'Reilly 83), Crawford.
