The channel will not be available on Freeview before 2010
The ALBA Challenge Cup semi-final tie between Partick Thistle and Airdrie at Firhill will be broadcast live on the BBC's new Gaelic television channel.
The match kicks off at 1500BST on 12 October with the other semi-final at Victoria Park, where Morton face Ross County, starting at the same time.
The Gaelic channel, called BBC Alba, launches on Friday at 2100.
It will be available on Sky and Freesat, with a Freeview launch expected after a review in 2010.
