Last season's beaten finalists Dundee United will travel to Cowdenbeath in the second round of the Scottish Co-operative Insurance Cup.

Hibs are at home to Morton, St Mirren entertain Dumbarton, Hearts take on Airdrie United and Hamilton host Clyde.

Falkirk face a journey to Raith Rovers, Aberdeen are away to Ayr United, Kilmarnock travel to Brechin and Inverness go to Arbroath.

First Division rivals Dundee and Partick Thistle meet at Dens Park.

Cup specialists St Johnstone travel to Livingston in another all-First Division tie.

The Perth men have reached three national cup semi-finals in the last two seasons and lifted the Challenge Cup back in November.

Captain Kevin James said: "It's a tricky tie. It's one of the juicier ties of the draw, but you have to beat good teams to get through these cups."

Trophy holders Rangers enter in the third round, along with Celtic, Motherwell and Queen of the South, Scotland's representatives in Europe this season.
