Stranraer 3-6 Morton

Morton booked their place in the Co-operative Insurance Cup second round after hammering hosts Stranraer.

Ryan McGuffie put the visitors in front after five minutes before Brian Wake's 12th-minute strike doubled the lead.

Ian Russell's brace put the visitors further ahead and though Craig Frizzel pulled one back, Erik Paartalu volleyed in a fifth before half-time.

Stuart McColm and Andy Gibson reduced Morton's lead only for Wake's second to round off the scoring late-on.
