Berwick Rangers 1-5 QoS


Queen of the South hammered Berwick Rangers to march into the second round of the Challenge Cup.

Sean O'Connor opened the scoring when Ryan McGurk could only divert a Stephen Dobbie shot into his path.

Dobbie laid on the second for Stevie Kean to head home before Ian Little replied just after the break.

O'Connor headed Queens' third, Stevie Tosh set up a fourth for Kean and Craig Barr nodded in a fifth to ensure a fine win for the Division One side.

Berwick: McGurk, Guy, Kiczynski (McMahon 62), Ewart, McLean, Bonar, Chris Anderson (Little 45), Callaghan, Lister, McLaren, Howat (Gribben 78).
