Raith made light work of a potentially hazardous trip to Castle Douglas.

The visitors dominated the first half but only had one goal from Ian Davidson to show for it.

Raith doubled their advantage in the 62nd minute through Derek Carcary who settled the outcome ten minutes later with a curling shot from 20-yards.

Carcary turned provider in the 77th minute setting up Steve Hislop to slot home and Hislop grabbed his second and Raith's fifth in the 89th minute.
