The Challenge Cup final between Dunfermline Athletic and St Johnstone has been moved to Sunday 25 November at Dens Park, Dundee.
It had originally been scheduled for 4 November, but that would have required the postponement of First Division games involving the pair.
The Scottish Football League decided on a later weekend that has no fixtures because of international matches.
This year's final will kick-off at 1500GMT at Dundee's ground.
Dunfermline reached the final with a 1-0 victory over Second Division outfit Ayr United.
St Johnstone beat First Division rivals Morton 3-1.
The two sides have met once so far this season, a 0-0 draw at Dunfermline's East End Park in early September.
