Third Division East Fife claimed a First Division scalp by knocking 10-man Queen of the South out of CIS Cup.

The visitors were on top in the first half, with David Bingham and Stephen Dobbie going close before Robert Harris was sent off after the break.

East Fife scored on 63 minutes when Steven Tweed's header was saved and Greig McDonald rifled the rebound into the roof of the net.

Home keeper Willie McCulloch made a good late save to deny Jamie Mole.
