Stirling Albion had to battle hard to claim victory at Edinburgh City in the second round of the Scottish Cup.

Albion struck in the eighth minute when Steven Bell drilled in a shot to set up a tie with Inverness.

Stewart Divine's free-kick hit the post as the Second Division side made all of the early running.

Edinburgh City's Danny Noon squandered a great chance when he rounded the keeper but could only force the ball wide from a tight angle.
