Stirling Albion booked their place in the second round of the Tennent's Scottish Cup with a comfortable win.
Colin Cramb opened the scoring after 16 minutes when he was first to react to tap in a free-kick from Ross Forsyth.
Nine minutes later Steven Bell's effort was parried into the path of Dean Shields, who finished from five yards.
The strong wind helped Shire after the interval and they were unfortunate when Alan Ward's shot was tipped onto the crossbar by goalkeeper Myles Hogarth.
