St Mirren are the 2005 Bell's Cup winners thanks to John Sutton's headed goal ten minutes from time.
Simon Lappin shot the Buddies into a first-half lead when he bundled the ball over the line after his first shot had cannoned off the crossbar.
Scott Tunbridge levelled the game two minutes after the interval, sweeping the ball home from close range.
Accies' David McEwan made several good saves but was beaten when Sutton knocked in a David van Zanten cross.
