Queen's Park eased themselves into the second round of the CIS Cup with a straightforward victory over 10-man East Stirlingshire at Firs Park.

Mark Ferry's angled drive from six yards and a David Weatherston volley put Queens in the driving seat.

Paul Harvey completed the victory with a stunning 25-yard free-kick on the stroke of half-time.

Iain Diack headed home Stephen Blair's cross, but Blair saw red for his second bookable offence to end any fightback.
