Daniel Agger's superb strike for Liverpool in their 2-1 win over West Ham has been chosen as August's goal of the month and the first of the 2006/07 season.

Miss Jill Fuller from West Sussex agreed with the Match of the Day panel's selection and won two tickets to see a Premiership team of her choice, plus hotel, travel and £250 spending money.
