Celina Hinchcliffe will present Match of the Day's Women's European Championship coverage.

Celina was born in Windsor in March 1976.

After gaining a degree in English Literature and Drama from Birmingham University, she worked with various theatre companies and travelled.

She got her first break in broadcasting in 2001 at BBC Southern Counties radio, reporting on the likes of Crawley Town and Lewes FC.

From there she worked as a reporter on African Football for the World Service and then at Radio Five Live.

In the summer of 2002, she joined BBC News 24 and BBC World as a sports presenter.

Celina has presented the last two women's FA Cup finals on the BBC, and in February became the first woman ever to present Match of the Day.

She lists her interests as film, theatre, live music and is a keen golfer, footballer and skier.
