Tomi Morgan appointed Carmarthen Town boss

Carmarthen Town have appointed Tomi Morgan as manager for the second time following Deryn Brace's resignation.

The former Wales semi-pro international boss was sacked by Carmarthen in 2003 but returns to Richmond Park after leaving his post as Porthmadog manager.

Morgan had been Porthmadog boss for 18 months and he replaces Brace, who steps down after three years in charge

A Carmarthen statement read: "Deryn Brace felt that the club needed a new face to ensure further success."

Carmarthen only narrowly qualified for next season's Super 12 - scraping in on goal difference thanks to a final day win over struggling Cefn Druids.

And since the end of the season, key Carmarthen players have quit.

Morgan previously spent six seasons at Richmond Park, leading the club to the Welsh Cup final - losing on penalties to Inter Cardiff in 1999 - and into Europe.
