Marc Lloyd Williams has returned to play at Y Traeth

Prolific striker Marc Lloyd Williams has returned to his roots by signing for Porthmadog after leaving Rhyl.

Williams, the Welsh Premier League's all-time record goal-scorer, played for Porth from 1992-94 before moving to Bangor, where he spent eight seasons.

The 35-year-old has also played for Aberystwyth, TNS and Newtown, plus English clubs Stockport County, Halifax Town and York City.

Williams is set to play in Saturday's home league clash with Bangor.
