Davies is desperate to play his part in the Uefa Cup
New Saints striker Alfie Carter is desperate to prove his fitness in time to face Suduva in their UEFA Cup tie.
Carter was on the bench for the first leg in Lithuania after battling back from a niggling knee injury.
Assistant boss Mike Davies is hopeful over Carter's chances: "There's been no reaction from this week's friendly with Welshpool, so it's looking bright.
"If we play at our best, we are confident we can win (the tie)," Davies added to BBC Radio Shropshire.
New Saints are one-nil down from the first leg and will try to turn that deficit round in the second leg at Newtown on 31 July (1845 BST).
