Aberystwyth 2-2 Newtown: Karl Seliearts' 45th-minute strike was followed five minutes later by Aneurin Thomas' equaliser, but after Andy Evans put the hosts into the lead Chris Evans struck back, leaving Aber with three defeats and two draws in their last five games while for Newtown it was a welcome point after only one win in their last 11 games.

Bangor City 1-1 Neath Athletic: Bangor lifted some gloom after three defeats in their previous four encounters while Neath continued to impress in their first season in the division.

Caersws 0-1 Caernarfon Town: Caersws continued to flirt with relegation. They are without a win in 10 games while Dean Buckley's 30th-minute goal gave them a third successive victory.

Connah's Quay 4-3 Carmarthen Town: Sacha Walters' 49th-minute strike was only a consolation as Connah's Quay ended a run of six games without a win by triumphing at the seventh attempt with goals from Ged Courtney, Craig Jones and Sam McNutt.

Newi Cefn Druids 1-0 Haverfordwest: Chris McGinn's 44th-minute strike was enough for the hosts to see off Haverfordwest.

Porthmadog 1-0 Rhyl: Porthmadog reached safety through Richard Hughes' 58th-minute goal while Rhyl's third-place in the league was unaffected by defeat.

Port Talbot Town 3-1 Llangefni Town: Steven Kehoe put Llangefni ahead in the 32nd minute, but after that it was one-way traffic as the visitors were condemned to relegation by goals from Martin Rose, Matthew Rees and Liam McReesh.

The New Saints 3-0 Llanelli: Alfie Carter hit home twice in three minutes to send The New Saints on the way to victory. John Leah finished the job in the 54th minute.

Welshpool 0-1 Airbus UK: Airbus were the better of these two struggling clubs, earning their first win in six games from Paul Hallows' goal.

Newport County 1-1 Eastbourne: A draw was a blow to Newport County's hopes of reaching the play-offs. Andy Gurney saw his 26th-minute goal equalised in the 64th by Matt Crabb.

BRITISH GAS BUSINESS SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION

Hitchin Town 1-3 Merthyr Tydfil: Craig Steins' brace in the 23rd and 73rd minutes sandwiched Shane Dawe's 43rd-minute strike. Paul Barnes hit the target for the hosts.

UNIBOND LEAGUE DIVISION ONE

Gresley Rovers 1-0 Colwyn Bay: Colwyn Bay suffered a blow to their hopes of reaching the play-offs as Dan Douglas scored in the 71st minute.
