Haverfordwest have confirmed that former manager Deryn Brace is no longer at the club in any capacity.
The ex-Norwich and Wrexham defender quit due to work commitments in September, but said he wanted to continue as a player at the club.
But new manager Derek Brazil has decided that his services are no longer required by the Bluebirds.
"This was an amicable decision that was reached between two honest professionals," said a club statement.
"The intention of the new manager is to nurture the abundance of local talent.
"Obviously Haverfordwest County will miss the services of such an accomplished player as Deryn Brace but quite clearly the new manager had to feel comfortable in his new role.
"The decision to release Deryn Brace was a difficult one."
