Marc Lloyd-Williams will sign a two-year contract with Aberystwyth Town before the end of the week.

The 30-year-old former Stockport, York and Halifax striker was put on the transfer list by Bangor City last week and will miss the Citizens' Intertoto Cup match on Saturday.

Lloyd-Williams, who was also offered a contract by Caernarfon Town, aimed a bitter parting shot at Bangor manager Peter Davenport.

"I'm disappointed, but if the club doesn't want me to stay then I have to look to the future," he told BBC Wales Sport.

"They're saying they have no money to pay my wages, but the manager's still looking to bring players in.

"Aberystwyth finished fourth in the league last year, though, and I think everything's geared up there to go higher."
