Draw for Carling Cup second round

League Cup

League Two Macclesfield have been drawn away to Premier League side West Ham in the second round of the Carling Cup.

Yeovil of League One, who upset Charlton in the first round on Tuesday, also face top-flight opponents with a trip to Middlesbrough.

Nottingham Forest host Sunderland, troubled Luton will meet Championship side Reading and Hartlepool welcome Premier League new boys West Brom.

The ties will be played on the week beginning 25 August.

The game between Brighton and Manchester City will have to be moved to a different date because of City's involvement in the Uefa Cup.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Portsmouth and holders Tottenham will join the competition in round three.
