Burnley knocked Grimsby out of the Carling Cup, winning 4-2 after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
James O'Connor netted the winning spot-kick after Ciaran Toner and Nick Fenton missed for Grimsby.
Toner came closest to opening the scoring in normal time when he hit the bar in the fiurst half.
It took until 97 minutes for Danny North to open the scoring, but Andy Gray hit back 11 minutes later, before penalties decided.
