Richard Cresswell scored his first goals for Leeds as they dumped Rotherham out the Carling Cup.
Leeds had the better of the opening and Rotherham's defence was caught napping, leaving Cresswell to knock home his first goal from inside the area.
Gregor Robertson then failed to clear and Cresswell was allowed to grab a simple second from a narrow angle.
Rotherham's best chance fell to Michael Keane just before the hour but he sent his superb effort just high.
