Boston 1-4 Fulham
Two goals from Tomasz Radzinski helped Fulham through in the Carling Cup at the expense of Paul Gascoigne's Boston.

Radzinski's cool finish on nine minutes got the visitors off to a good start before Steed Malbranque, making his first start of the season, made it 2-0.

A thumping drive by Brian McBride added to the Fulham total, before Lee Beevers gave Boston hope with a firm header on the the hour.

Radzinski converted Malbranque's raking long pass to make the game safe.

Boston Utd: Nathan Abbey, West, Beevers, Ellender, McCann, Gascoigne (Rusk 67), Bennett, Noble, Pitt (Thompson 80), Lee, Kirk (McManus 78). Subs Not Used: Strong, Holland.
