Burnley 1-1 Wolves
(Burnley win 4-2 on penalties) Wolves paid the price for missing two penalties in normal time and two in the shoot-out as Burnley squeezed into the third round of the Carling Cup.

Goalkeeper Brian Jensen was the Clarets' hero, saving from Carl Cort and Keith Andrews late on to force the game into extra time.

Ki-Hyeon Seol had opened the scoring for Wolves on the stroke of half time but Robbie Blake levelled for Burnley.

Wolves duo Shaun Newton and Leon Clarke also hit the woodwork in extra time.

Burnley: Jensen, Duff, McGreal (Sinclair 28), Branch, Camara, Moore, Chaplow, Grant, Hyde, Valois, Blake.
Subs Not Used: Coyne, O'Neill, Pilkington, Scott.
