Glenavon come from behind to beat Newry at Mourneview Park with goals from Trevor Molloy and Gary Hamilton
Glenavon's mini-revival continued as they completed back-to-back wins in the Premiership thanks to goals from Trevor Molloy and Gary Hamilton.
They had to come from behind as Newry took the lead in the 20th minute through Alan Davidson who cut inside to net with an excellent left-foot finish.
Trevor Molloy hooked in the equaliser two minutes before half-time.
Gary Hamilton drilled in the winner on 50 minutes when Mark Turkington's cross was mishit by defender Ross Black.
It was former Glentoran star Gary Hamilton's fifth goal in five games for the Lurgan club.
Glenavon could have stretched their advantage but City keeper Andy Coleman made a fine double save, firstly denying Hamilton and then keeping out Kyle Neill's follow-up.
The win takes Glenavon above Newry in the bottom half of the Premiership table.
