Bottom club Donegal Celtic beat Crusaders 5-4 in a thriller at Seaview

Paul McVeigh struck an injury-time penalty to give DC a dramatic Carling Premiership victory at Seaview.

Ryan Henderson gave DC an early lead but two quick goals from Martin Donnelly put the hosts ahead.

Paul McVeigh levelled before Henderson made it 3-2 to the basement side just before the break.

A Stuart Dallas double put the Crues back in charge but Mark Dickson slotted in on 90 minutes before McVeigh won it with a last-gasp spot-kick.

DC joint three other teams on 11 points but stay bottom of the table on goal difference.

They got off to a dream start when Armagh GAA star Henderson slotted past keeper Chris Keenan for a sixth minute opener.

Donnelly equalised on 11 minutes with a shot that proved too strong for Donegal Celtic stopper Declan Brown before he hit the top corner with a superb free-kick two minutes later.

A dangerous cross from Ciaran Gargan was clawed away by Keenan but McVeigh was perfectly placed to net from close range after 32 minutes.

Gargan set up Donegal Celtic's third goal on the stroke of half-time, his cross diverted in by Henderson.

Dallas levelled again for the Crues with a crisp first-time shot on 56 minutes and the midfielder added the fourth with a low drive 13 minutes later.

Dickson hit the bottom corner against his former club after coming on as a substitute and then McVeigh secured all three points for Donegal Celtic.

Keenan brought down Thomas McCann and McVeigh stepped up to score the decisive goal in the third minute of injury-time.
