Coleraine 0-3 Crusaders

Gareth Harkin and Martin Donnelly
Crusaders' Martin Donnelly battles with Gareth Harkin at the Showgrounds

Coleraine remain without a point and a goal in the Carling Premiership after this home hammering by Crusaders.

The Bannsiders got off to a dreadful start as ex-Crues player Aaron Black was sent off after reacting to a clumsy Ryan McCann challenge.

Stuart Dallas put Crusaders ahead on 25 minutes and Martin Donnelly doubled the advantage in first-half injury-time.

Crusaders' McCann was sent off in the second half but Dallas added his second goal six minutes from time.

Coleraine were in trouble right from the sixth minute after the dismissal of Black, who moved to the Showgrounds from the Seaview outfit in the close-season.

McCann certainly fouled Black but there was no excuse for the Coleraine player's retaliation which earned him a straight red card.

Coleraine tried to regroup and Jonny Harkness fired just over the bar from a 30-yard free-kick.

However, Crusaders went ahead on 25 minutes as Dallas fired home from 18 yards after being set up by David Rainey.

Dallas was involved again in Crusaders' second goal in first-half injury-time after setting up Donnelly to score, via a Michael Halliday step-over.

Crusaders' McCann saw red in the 67th minute after getting his second yellow card but it didn't unhinge the visitors.

Dallas struck his second goal of the match six minutes from time after being set up by substitute Jordan Owens and Chris Morrow.
