Irish Cup winners Crusaders have signed midfielder Ryan McCann from Lisburn Distillery in a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old former Linfield player was seeking a move from New Grosvenor following the controversial sacking of Paul Kirk as manager last month.

McCann activated a clause in his contract which allowed him to leave the Whites and he has decided to join Stephen Baxter's team.

Linfield and Coleraine were also reported to be interested in McCann.
