Stephen Carson was Coleraine's hero with an 88th-minute winner which lifted the Bannsiders up to fourth in the JJB Sports Premiership table.

Carson made space and unleashed a great right-foot strike after Gareth Harkin had taken a short free-kick.

Newry had been reduced to 10 men in the 57th minute as Stephen Ferguson was sent-off after a melee.

Coleraine's Tommy McCallion and Paul Donegan of Newry were booked for their parts in the flare-up.
