Glentoran beat Drogheda United in Monday's semi-final

Glentoran have expressed anger after it was confirmed that Cork City will have home advantage for the Setanta Sports Cup final on 1 November.

The game will take place at The Eircom League club's Turner's Cross venue with a 1930 GMT kick-off.

Glentoran chairman Aubry Ralph said that the east Belfast club were "disgusted" by the decision.

"We don't understand why the game cannot be played at a neutral venue," said the Glentoran official.

The decision leaves the Glens' team and fans facing a marathon trip for the decider.

Cork City will be appearing in their second final in three years against the first time finalists.
