Beckett is new Limavady manager

Liam Beckett has taken over at Limavady United
Liam Beckett has taken over as manager at Limavady United

Former Cliftonville and Institute manager Liam Beckett has taken over as boss of Limavady United.

The IFA Championship club said they had parted with Ollie Mullan by mutual consent after a disappointing start to the 2008-09 season.

Limavady, who were in the Premier League last season, are bottom of the Championship having lost their first four matches.

Beckett resigned as Institute manager in March.
