Glentoran begin defence of Shield

Michael Carvill was on target on his Linfield debut

Glentoran will begin the defence of their County Antrim Shield crown when they take on Newington YC at the Oval on Tuesday night (1930 BST).

Linfield play Harland and Wolff Welders and last year's beaten finalists Crusaders take on Dromara Village.

Ballymena host Ballyclare Comrades, Bangor entertain Donegal Celtic and Larne are at home to Dundela.

Lisburn Distillery face Wakehurst at Ballyskeagh and all matches will be played to a finish on the night.
