The FAI have confirmed the nominations for the Eircom/FAI International Awards with Shay Given, Richard Dunne and Kevin Doyle contesting the main prize.
Given, winner of the senior award last year, is again nominated for his heroics between the posts but faces stiff competition from Dunne and Doyle.
The nominations were chosen by a panel from the Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland and there are 18 categories.
These include Hall of Fame, a Special Merit Award and Young Player prize.
Manchester City's Stephen Ireland, Shane Long of Reading and Celtic's Aiden McGeady are the contenders for the Young Player award.
There will also be an International Personality Award.
