In the first period home goalkeeper Marc Robinson made good saves to deny Ryan Catney on 27 minutes and then John Martin after 40 minutes.
Alistair Wilson was sent-off by referee Des Loughery for his part in a melee on 56 minutes, having come on as a substitute just four minutes earlier.
Noel Robinson received a red card for dissent on 75 minutes.
