Michael Gault is the latest Linfield player to be named Harp player of the month in a season which has seen the Blues unbeaten in domestic football.
Michael Gault was chosen as top player for January
The 22-year-old midfielder won the award for January, following in the footsteps of team-mates Peter Thompson, Glenn Ferguson and Paul McAreavey.
Linfield won all six of their matches in the month, not conceding a goal.
"Any of the team could have won this because we have been playing so well," said Lisburn-based Gault.
"The priority is to win the league but we also want to go through the season unbeaten. We do not want to see any team beat us.
"We have been training three nights a week with Alfie Wylie and it has paid off."
