Portadown boss Ronnie McFall believes that Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez should call midfielder Michael Collins into his international squad.
Collins was the star performer as Ports edged to a Nationwide Irish Cup decider after a 1-0 semi-final replay success over Glentoran on Tuesday night.
"Lawrie Sanchez could do a lot worse than bringing Mickey Collins into his midfield," said a delighted McFall.
"Collins is a class act. His pass to set up the winning goal was exquisite."
It a superbly-threaded pass that set up Marc McCann's 74th minute winner as Portadown booked a place in the final where they will face Larne on 7 May.
"We deserved the result. I felt one goal would do and I also believed it would be another very tight match," said McFall.
"We had to dig deep. Everyone was tense and as a result it was not an over-inspiring match.
"But out of that came Mickey Collins, he was man-of-the-match by a mile."
Portadown's Daily Mirror Irish League game with Coleraine has been switched from Saturday to Friday night at the Showgrounds (1945 BST).
