Wales tempt Nardiello
Daniel Nardiello
Nardiello is a bright prospect
Manchester United striker Daniel Nardiello has become a target for Wales manager Mark Hughes.

The 20-year-old striker is the latest youngster to roll off the Old Trafford production line.

He has made two first-team appearances this season, including his Champions League debut against Maccabi Haifa.

Nardiello's father, Donato, won two Welsh caps in the early 1980s.

Hughes is hoping to persuade the Coventry-born striker to follow his father's footsteps and play for Wales.

"I've already been asked by Wales to go and play for them," said Nardiello.

"I've spoken to Mark Hughes about the Under-21s and he has told me to go away and think about it, which is what I am doing at the moment."
