Steven Reid is expected to be fit for the Republic of Ireland

The Republic of Ireland are confident midfielder Steven Reid will be fully fit for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Montenegro.

Reid was advised by medical staff to sit out Monday's training session because of a slight knee injury sustained against Georgia on Saturday.

It means Giovanni Trapattoni has everyone available as the Republic aim to make it two wins from two.

Shay Given, Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt have all recovered from knocks.
