Moore parades Jules Rimet trophy
England celebrate their 1966 World Cup triumph
There are few more iconic images in football than that of Bobby Moore holding aloft the Jules Rimet trophy aloft at Wembley.

It was Moore who put Geoff Hurst through to score the final goal of England's dramatic 4-2 win over West Germany in the final.

Moore had become England's youngest captain at the age of 22 in 1963 and he led his country on 90 occasions - a joint record with Billy Wright.

His display in England's 1-0 defeat by favourites Brazil in the 1970 World Cup finals, where he was a tower of strength in defence, is regarded as one of the finest ever.
