England v Croatia - Micah Richards
Distance covered: 10155m in 90 minutes
Right-back Richards has a massive engine and he used that sporadically to good effect against Croatia.
The Manchester City player was one of the biggest plusses for England and was good support for Shaun Wright-Phillips down the right.
He was forced into making several forays forward after England went 2-0 down although that decreased once David Beckham came on and the formation changed to 4-4-2.
