October woe for miserable England

England's perfect start is blown apart by a woeful display as Macedonia earn an unlikely point thanks to several wasted chances.

"It is easier to play against England than Andorra," scathed Macedonia midfielder Artim Sakiri.

Croatia 2-0 England
The wheels come off as England are outplayed in Zagreb and, to make matters worse, keeper Paul Robinson is a laughing stock after taking an air shot at a Gary Neville back-pass for the second goal.

"A-PAUL-ING", raged The Sun. With five months until the next qualifier, a nation holds its breath.
