Ten-man Belgium took a large step towards the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championship after Kevin Mirallas' late goal saw off Israel.
The Belgians were on the back foot when Marouane Fellaini was dismissed on 18 minutes for a second booking.
But Israel did not dominate and Belgium took the initiative with Mirallas hitting the post 10 minutes from time.
And Mirallas rifled a low shot home after Vanden Borre's pass two minutes later to win the match.
