Aiden McGeady will miss the Republic's trip to San Marino

A knee injury has forced Celtic's Aiden McGeady to pull out of the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino on Wednesday.
The Glasgow-born winger missed Celtic's SPL win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle last weekend and his recovery has taken longer than expected.
Ireland manager Steve Staunton has called up Newcastle United's Alan O'Brien as a replacement.
The match takes place at the Serravalle Stadium, kick-off 1945GMT.
With just four points from four games, Staunton knows the Republic have to win.
He included seven uncapped players in his squad.
