Croatia v England
Croatia v England
(1800 BST)

I cannot see England getting beaten despite the furore over their performance against Macedonia and everything being analysed to death.

The simple fact of the matter is that too many players did not play well, while Macedonia did and were tactically spot on.

If four or five don't play well at this level you don't win and it doesn't matter what formation you use.

So the priority is to improve performances across the team, including Wayne Rooney, who has to play because he needs the games, while at the other end a big positive is that defensively, when asked, England are generally very good.

Prediction: 0-0

Ukraine v Scotland
Ukraine v Scotland
(1800 BST)

It was an absolutely fantastic effort by Scotland at the weekend. They just sat there, knowing France would have most of the ball, and waited and waited for their moment.

The concentration levels were excellent but the big question now is how much has that taken out of them?

Very rarely in these international weeks do you get two team displays at the same level of performance.

And don't under-estimate Ukraine. They reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup and this will be a really tough match for Walter Smith's men.

Prediction: 1-0

Republic of Ireland v Czech Republic
Republic of Ireland v Czech Republic
(1930 BST)

The Republic of Ireland had the bad day of all bad days on Saturday against Cyprus.

But it will be a completely different performance in Dublin because they have all got a point to prove, they are all under pressure and they will put in a real battling performance.

It may not be much of a footballing display and they may struggle to make chances but they will play with a physical power.

The Czechs are a good side and will match the physicality that the Republic have at home but they will have to make do with a point from this game.

Prediction: 1-1

Northern Ireland v Latvia
Northern Ireland v Latvia
(2000 BST)

It may seem strange to say it after picking up four points from the home win over Spain and the 0-0 draw in Denmark but this is a must-win game for Northern Ireland.

Lose and all that hard work will have been for nothing and they will again be seen as a real yo-yo team.

Like Scotland, but without the headlines, it was an outstanding defensive display against the Danes but they will have to be more attacking now.

It will be scratchy and patchy and nervy at times but they will get that win they need.

Prediction: 2-1

Wales v Cyprus
Wales v Cyprus
(2000 BST)

Wales will bounce back from that Slovakia result and don't let the scores deceive you - Cyprus may have beaten Ireland 5-2 but away from home they are not a good side.

The Welsh are a young side but the players coming through are very good and this is part of the learning process.

Slovakia was a poor result but the Welsh Football Association knows what is around the corner in 18 months or two years.

As with many smaller nations, they have not got many players to choose from, so consequently good teams are cyclical, but, in time, they will be better than Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Prediction: 2-0
