Scotland manager Walter Smith was happy with his Future side after the 2-0 win over their Polish counterparts.
He said: "The most pleasing thing was the attitude of everyone and I was really pleased with that and the players deserved terrific credit.
"It was a great night for us as it gave us an opportunity to see a number of excellent performances.
"It's not an easy game to organise and you don't get the team together for long, but they worked very hard."
The Scotland Future team have a home match against Turkey in March but that could be the last of such matches.
"It will not just be a Scottish decision. That is something that all the countries involved in it will decide," added Smith.
"It was mainly to be used in a run-up to the World Cup so whether people see it as a worthwhile exercise or not we will have to wait and see.
"It's an awkward fixture to fit in but in saying that we got it over with and that was their first win in a Future game so that was a pleasing aspect for us.
"The dates are more awkward to fit in but it serves a purpose as it gives everybody an opportunity to have a go."
