Lawrie Sanchez is keen to blood some new faces

Northern Ireland's friendly against Portugal will mark the start of Lawrie Sanchez's preparations for the European Championship qualifying campaign.
With top players like David Healy and Aaron Hughes among the NI absentees, Sanchez will give chances to some of the players pushing for regular slots.
"It gives us a chance to blood some new faces, that is what friendlies are all about," said Sanchez.
"We will be putting together a group of players for the European qualifiers."
The match marks the Irish FA's 125th anniversary and Sanchez's young side have been handed tough opposition in Luiz Felipe Scolari's star-studded team.
"It is going to be difficult for us," added Sanchez.
"Portugal were one of the best qualifiers for the World Cup.
"But it is great for the fans at Windsor park to see great players like Ronaldo and Pauleta.
"I have got to fashion a team, after some withdrawals, to give them a good game."
Meanwhile, Linfield's Peter Thompson is looking to get a taste of the action after his first call-up to the international squad.
The postman from east Belfast will start on the bench but Sanchez is expected to use all his substitutes.
"It is great to be involved," said Thompson. "It would be extra special to step out on a ground I know so well."
Thompson has bagged 18 goals this season in domestic football, attracting the interest of scouts from English and Scottish clubs.
Thompson is one of three new faces in Sanchez's 19-man squad. Dean Shiels (Hibernian) and Brian McLean (Motherwell), both 20, are also included.
